The social activist was detained on January 3, 2021, at her home after security forces broke down the door and conducted a search, seizing some of her belongings. Polina was sentenced to two years in prison under three articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. She refused to testify both during the investigation and in court.

In April 2022, another year in prison was added to Polina's sentence for disobeying the administration's demands, and in October 2023, she was again convicted under the same article to one year and three days in prison.

The political prisoner is subjected to systematic psychological pressure and physical violence. She has been repeatedly placed in solitary confinement, punishment cells and PKT.

The BNR Rada awarded Polina Sharendo-Panasyuk the Order of the Pursuit.

In March 2024, when propagandists filmed a story about a political prisoner, Polina's yellow tag was captured on camera - it indicated that her prison term was supposed to end on May 21. But Polina did not come out on that date, and was charged for the third time with "disobeying the colony administration."

On September 9, 2024, all investigative actions in (yet another) Polina's case were completed. And on the same day, she was familiarized with the criminal case. This means that Polina was finally charged under Part 1 of Article 411 of the Criminal Code.

Detained and convicted for the events that took place on August 10, 2020 in Brest. Timur, returning from work, was shot with rubber bullets five times. The investigator explains the choice of the measure of restraint of detention by the fact that Timur does not have Belarusian citizenship, despite the fact that he has a residence permit and has lived in Belarus for about 23 years.

In June 2023, human rights activists learned that Timur spent more than 100 days in a punishment cell and was then placed in a PKT. After which he was transferred to prison regime.

On July 10, the Leninsky District Court of Mogilev sentenced Brest resident Timur Rizapur to a year in prison under the article on malicious disobedience to the administration (Article 411 of the Criminal Code).
