According to the indictment, Tomashev then “carelessly crumpled the flag, wrapping it around a tree” and took it to his barn, where he kept it in a bag until the police took it out.
Tomashev admitted guilt. He said that he saw the flag and decided to take it for himself. He was found guilty and sentenced to three months in prison.

23-year-old Sergei was accused of tearing a red and green flag from a dormitory building in Grodno on the night of June 25 after drinking alcohol with friends and taking it with him, after which he threw the flag on the street near the building. The court valued the flag together with the tree at 35 rubles 70 kopecks. The man fully admitted his guilt.
Sergei was counted towards the term of his arrest for being held in custody. The court considered the imposed sentence to have been fully served and released the man in the courtroom.

Father of political prisoner Nikita Zolotarev . Mikhail was detained on August 8, 2023 and sentenced to 15 days of arrest under Art. 19.11 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus (distribution of extremist materials). After the first arrest, he was not released and was sentenced under the same article to another 15 days, and then to another 15.
On September 22, 2023, on the eve of his release after serving his third administrative arrest in a row, he was again found guilty of committing an offense and sent to a detention center for the fourth time.
On November 18, 2023, he was released from the temporary detention facility.

According to human rights activists, she was released in December 2023 upon expiration of her sentence.
