Kirovsk resident Yuri Averkov was detained on the eve of the "Single Voting Day" in February 2024. Propagandists then announced that Averkov was the administrator of a Kirovsk Telegram channel that he created in 2020, where he "called on people to take to the streets." As part of the story on the Telegram channel of the Bobruisk state media holding, it was then claimed that Averkov left offensive comments about security forces on the Internet, registered with the "Plan Peramoga", and also allegedly sent photos of homemade weapons to an anonymous chat bot.

It is known that the day before the “Single Voting Day”, on February 23, Yuri Averkov was tried on an administrative charge for “propaganda or public display, production, distribution of Nazi symbols or paraphernalia” (Part 2 of Article 19.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus).

The court hearing for “insulting a government official” (Article 369 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus) took place on June 11. The court’s decision is unknown.

On September 30, the Mogilev Regional Court will begin to consider the criminal case under Part 3 of Article 293 (Mass riots), as well as Part 1 of Article 130 (Incitement of racial, national, religious or other social hatred or discord) in a closed session.

Alesya Sergeenko has been in a pre-trial detention center since the end of January as part of a criminal case (presumably she is charged with “promoting extremism”). She was detained as a result of a massive raid by security forces on January 23-24, 2024 on relatives of political prisoners and people who sent parcels and letters to political prisoners.

It is also known that on February 21, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Mogilev considered the case under Decree No. 7 “On foreign gratuitous assistance” against Alesya. “Decree No. 7” is used in Belarus to judge those people against whom a mass raid was carried out at the end of January 2024. Then the KGB officers tried to find out who received food aid from abroad as part of the activities of the INeedHelp organization, recognized as a so-called “extremist formation.”
Alesya Sergeenko has two children - 3 and 16 years old. Her husband, Maxim Sergeenko, is a political prisoner who in April 2021 received a sentence of 3 years in prison from the Kruglyansky District Court.

Denis Khokhlov has lived in Russia since February 2023, he went there because he was afraid of persecution in his homeland. From Russia, he was going to leave for Georgia, but in June 2023 he was detained in Kabardino-Balkaria because he was on the interstate wanted list at the request of Belarus.

Denis is the stepfather of Vladislav Lagutenko, who has already been sentenced for participating in the protests to two years of home chemistry.

Since there is no analogue of Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation, and for walking on the roads during protests there is only an administrative punishment, the terms of which Denis has long expired, the Russian prosecutor's office refused to deport.

But in another court, where the man was brought on July 13, he was given an administrative fine for “exceeding the maximum period of stay in Russia without registration.” The man was not released from custody .
He was re-detained and placed in the Center for temporary stay of foreigners. As evidence that Denis should be kept in detention until deportation, he was wanted in Belarus, despite the fact that under Russian law he is completely innocent. Complaints and appeals to the official bodies, which were written by Russian human rights activists, did not give any result. Denis will be taken to Belarus.

On January 18, 2023, an appeal court hearing was held. The verdict was left unchanged.

Andrei is registered in the urban settlement of Ushachi (Vitebsk region), but in recent years he lived and worked in Russia. On September 23, 2022, he was detained in Moscow and placed in custody because Belarusian security forces put Andrei Nikolaevich on the international wanted list.

As was announced at the court in Brest, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office refused to extradite Protasevich to Belarus due to the absence of a crime in his actions under Russian law.

However, he was expelled from Russia under the procedure of "violation of migration legislation" and transferred to Belarus. In Belarus, Andrei Nikolaevich has been in custody since November 7, 2022. He was sentenced to three months of arrest for a comment on social networks.

It is known that Andrei had another trial, under Article 368 Part 1 (insulting Lukashenko). The outcome is unknown.

At the trial, Dmitry Ivanov admitted his guilt and apologized to the policeman. He paid compensation for moral damage in the amount of one thousand rubles before the trial.
