Journalist. Vyacheslav is accused of "assisting extremist activity."

First, Lazarev was taken to the Investigative Committee, and for almost a day his relatives did not know what would happen to him. He is currently being held in Vitebsk SIZO-2.

The court of first instance sentenced Lazarov to five and a half years of imprisonment in a high-security penal colony, finding him guilty under the article on the creation of an "extremist formation" or participation in it (Article 361-1 of the Criminal Code). The Supreme Court changed the sentence to five years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony.

On September 11, 2025, it became known that 52 prisoners of the Belarusian regime were forcibly transferred to the territory of Lithuania. Among them are citizens of European countries. Among those released is Vyacheslav Lazarev.

As part of the special proceedings, in May 2023, he was convicted in absentia and sentenced to a long term of imprisonment in a maximum security penal colony. According to the Belarusian state news agency BelTA, the defendants in the "case" are accused of committing at least 1,586 crimes, and a claim for more than 30 million rubles has been filed.

Earlier, the KGB included Yan on the “terrorist list”, and the NEXTA channel in Belarus was recognized as a “terrorist organization”.

Cameraman. Pavel collaborated with independent media. The journalist had previously been detained multiple times while covering political events in Belarus, including after 2020. He was detained as part of a criminal case on February 9 after a search of his home, during which mobile phones and a video camera were seized. In 2021, she publicly announced that she was leaving journalism. She explained her departure by saying that she had already had enough of being persecuted for working without accreditation. According to police reports, the courts punished the journalist with administrative fines more than forty times, including for covering post-election protests. Only one day was not assigned, since Shchiryakova was raising a minor son alone.

This year, in September, after the arrest of her former colleague in the journalistic field, Yevgeny Merkis, Shchiryakova raised the issue of the journalist’s detention in a pre-trial detention facility in her posts on social networks, and posted messages on her social network pages about solidarity actions with Yevgeny that were being held abroad.

After Larisa was detained, her son was taken to a shelter straight from school.

According to the case materials, Larisa Shchyryakova allegedly posted information on the Internet that discredited the Republic of Belarus. She is also accused of "collecting, creating, processing, storing and transmitting information for" Viasna" and "Belsat".

On the 11th of April 2025 it became clear that the 52nd anniversary of the Belarusian Regime Promymusov moved to the territory of Lithuania. There are people and citizens of the European countries. Larysa Shchyrakova was summoned.

She was detained together with her husband Alexander Lychavko. Snezhana previously worked at TUT.BY, now at Onliner. Alexander is a local historian and journalist from Minsk who, according to the security forces, collaborated with The Village.

On the morning of October 6, they stopped communicating. Later there was information that they were detained. The next day, a telegram channel close to the GUBOPiK posted “repentant” videos with the spouses detained the day before - in the video they say that they were detained for subscribing to telegram channels that the Belarusian authorities recognized as extremist, as well as for participating in protest marches in 2020 year.

Journalist and TV presenter, who previously held a position in the “presidential pool” of the ONT TV channel.

In August 2020, Semchenko resigned in protest against the brutal dispersal of peaceful protests. Dmitry and his wife were detained on September 15 in Minsk. Yulia was later released, and Dmitry was left behind bars pending trial. A day later, the man was arrested for 15 days. But after 15 days, Dmitry was not released and was sentenced to another 13 days of arrest under Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for distributing "extremist materials" on his social networks. When Dmitry Semchenko was not released on October 13, 2022, it became known that a criminal case had been opened against him.

According to human rights activists , he was released in July 2025, having fully served his sentence.
