On June 9, 2021, the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Gomel recognized the Petrikov 97% Telegram channel as extremist. In July 2021, KGB and police officers came to Viktor's home.
Only on November 9, 2021, by decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a group of citizens united by the telegram channel "Petrikov 97%" was recognized as an extremist group.
In January 2025 , he was released, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.

According to the indictment, on April 22, 2021, at 7:44 a.m., Yuri Yudchits publicly, “with the purpose of humiliating honor and dignity,” insulted a government official in connection with the performance of his official duties — police officer of the OMON platoon of the Brest City Executive Committee Internal Affairs Directorate Vladislav Shukaev.
As soon as Yuri was released, a criminal case was opened against him again, and again for a comment about a police officer. This time, the victim was the head of the Berezovsky District Department of Internal Affairs' juvenile affairs inspectorate, Dmitry Lishko. The second sentence was handed down on 24.06.2022
