Alexander Evdakha is a book distributor who runs the website KNIHI.BY, which is currently unavailable.

On March 3, 2026, a coalition of print publishers, including the Kamunikat.org Foundation, Lohvinau Publishing House, and Andrei Yanushkevich Publishing, was added to the Ministry of Internal Affairs' updated list of "extremist groups." The list mentions Yaroslav Ivanyuk, Dmitry Kolos, Igor Logvinov, Vaclav Bogdanovich, Andrei Yanushkevich, and Alexander Yevdakha in connection with this group. The publishers' websites and social media accounts were also added.

This is not the first time Yevdakha has been subjected to repression by the regime. In 2017, he was implicated in the "White Legion" case and spent over three months in pretrial detention. The case fell apart before reaching trial. Previously, in 2012, he was sentenced to a year of house arrest for illegally selling books. In 2021, he was taken in for questioning.

A former KGB agent from Gomel. In June 2017, he admitted to having collaborated with the KGB for over 20 years. He admitted to leaving for Poland with his wife and two daughters.

Sergei told journalist Ekaterina Andreeva, who is currently behind bars, about the assignments he carried out. The journalists at reform, who broke the story, believe Andreeva's persecution may be connected to the Vasiliev case. In particular, in 2017, he created a website for the KGB that published compromising material on democratic movement figures. His duties also included monitoring Belarusian journalists. Vasiliev showed the journalist video recordings of meetings with KGB representatives.

In 2019, Vasiliev decided to return to Belarus. He remained at large until at least the end of 2020, working as a videographer and wedding photographer for salons.

He was arrested until April 2021. In June 2021, he was sentenced to 11 years in a maximum-security penal colony under Article 356 (treason).
