Evgeny Glushkov is a former Mogilev journalist, in the 90s and 2000s he worked on city television, after which he collaborated with several city portals.
Glushkov was detained in early January by assault because the man did not open the door to the security forces. He was dragged out into the street in the same clothes he was wearing at home.
According to some reports , it has been established that a criminal case has been opened against Glushkov for journalistic activities. The presumptive article is 361-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (creation or participation in an extremist formation).

The man was accused of transferring money to Kalinovsky’s regiment through the social network Facebook using the PayPal payment system. The transfer in the amount of 12.91 US dollars was from a Belarusian card.
On February 12, prosecutor Bogush requested 5 years in a maximum security colony for Sysoev. The verdict was announced on February 14. The exact verdict is currently unknown, but in the vast majority of cases in political cases, Brest judges award exactly what prosecutors ask for.

The accused Sergei Chizh fully admitted his guilt at the court hearing. He explained that the poster was heavy, and it was soon rolled up, and after the procession, Sergei burned it.
Tatyana Chizh did not admit guilt to the charges, explaining that she was depressed due to the serious illness of her mother, who is disabled.

The trial, which lasted from February 9, found Degterenko guilty of “joining an extremist formation” and under Part 3 of Art. 361-1 of the Criminal Code, he was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of three years.
He was also found guilty of “providing funds by any means for the purpose of use in terrorist activities, material support and other support” by a person who had previously committed a crime under Art. 361-1 of the Criminal Code, and according to Part 2 of Art. 290-1 of the Criminal Code (as amended by the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated January 09, 2019 No. 171-Z), he was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 8 years with a fine of 100 basic units.

District Court Judge Shamal found him guilty of insulting Lukashenko (Part 2 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus) and slandering him (Part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus). It is known that the man appealed the verdict to the Mogilev Regional Court. The appeal took place on April 11, 2024 behind closed doors with the participation of a judicial panel chaired by Judge Irina Teplova. The regional court recognized that the qualification of actions for “insulting Lukashenko” under Part 2 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code is excessively imputed and should be excluded from the charge.
However, this had little effect: the sentence to Sergei Shekh was upheld.
