The telegram channel “Kniga GU “Baza””, which is close to the security forces, published a video with brothers detained for participating in protests. In the video, both Belarusians said that they took part in the protest on September 6, 2020. “On social networks, the brothers were signed as Konstantin Kovalevsky and Artemy Chop. The first detainee said that he was on Pobediteley Avenue and stood on the roadway, chanting slogans. The second Belarusian replied that he was subscribed to the Nexta Life and “Motolko, Help” telegram channels. Having seen calls on an “extremist” channel, I went out to protest.
It is unknown what status the detainees are in and under what article they are accused.
