Daniil, a history student at the Belarusian State University, was detained on September 29, 2021, in Minsk in a criminal case opened for comments on the Internet after the death of KGB officer Dmitry Fedosyuk and IT specialist Andrei Zeltser in a Minsk apartment.
Almost a year and a half later, he was found guilty of “inciting hatred or discord” and “participating in group actions that grossly violate public order.” The basis for the second charge was that during the protests, he bandaged the injured leg of a guy who had an injured ankle.
He was released in April 2023, having fully served his sentence.

Mozheiko is the author of an article about Andrei Zeltser, a Minsk resident killed in a shootout with KGB officers. According to the prosecution, Mozheiko “acting on the basis of political and ideological hostility, committed a number of crimes between June 23, 2020 and October 2021.” He also “made and posted on the Internet negative, obscene and unacceptable” statements regarding Lukashenka.
The journalist pleaded not guilty in court.

3 years of imprisonment in a penal colony
Alexander was arrested in March 2021 in connection with a criminal case opened under the article "threat of violence against an internal affairs officer." In May of that year, he was convicted and sentenced to a term of imprisonment in an open correctional facility.
In September 2021, Alexander, who was serving a sentence for a previous case, faced another court hearing for "insulting a government official." The charges stemmed from a comment he made about Ruslan Shumakher, a district police officer from Babruisk, in a Telegram chat deemed extremist. Alexander was sentenced to restricted freedom and ordered to pay compensation to the "victim."
He was released in December 2023, having fully served his sentence as imposed by the court.
Evgeny was convicted in July 2021 for making a comment about an official, Interior Minister Kubrakov, and sentenced to restricted freedom and placement in an open correctional facility.
In 2022, the punishment regime was tightened, and Evgeny was transferred to a penal colony.
He was released in November 2022, having fully served his sentence as imposed by the court.

Mikhail is the director of a construction company and the brother of Stanislav Luponosov, a former GUBOPiK officer who collaborated with the BYPOL initiative during his service before leaving for Ukraine in December 2020. In August 2021, Mikhail was arrested and remanded in custody in connection with a criminal case opened under articles on the use of an invalid document and the deliberate inclusion of false information in official documents for mercenary or other personal gain. In pretrial detention, he was forced to condemn his brother's actions on camera and convey calls from former colleagues to "rethink his actions."
In June 2022, Mikhail was found guilty of "causing property damage without evidence of theft," with other charges dropped, and was sentenced to restricted freedom and sent to an open correctional facility.
He was released in December 2023, having fully served his sentence.
