Vasily Pilts from Hrodna was charged under part 1 of Article 339 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism). Allegedly, on December 14 last year, Pilets pushed aggressive supporters of Alexander Lukashenko and activists of the Antivandal movement A. Galakhov and Olga Bondareva when they painted over the image of the white-red-white flag.

On February 12, Vasily Pilets was sentenced by the Oktyabrsky District Court of Grodno to one year of restriction of freedom without being sent to an open correctional institution (OFI). At the protest of Deputy Prosecutor D. Antonovich, the Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Grodno Regional Court changed the sentence to 1 year of restriction of liberty with a referral to the IUOT.
