The detention of Natalia became known in March this year. Then the so-called "repentant" video with a woman appeared in public sites associated with the security forces. In the comments to this video, there were clear threats of reprisals against a woman. The case ended in court under Part 2 of Art. 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus (distribution, production, storage, transportation of information products containing calls for extremist activity or promoting such activity), the result of which is unknown. After this detention, a criminal case was opened against the woman for "assisting extremist activities."
The woman was sentenced to 2.5 years of restriction of freedom. But due to the time spent in the pre-trial detention center, Natalya has a year and three months left to serve her sentence.
She worked as a violinist at the Opera House. Detained for participating in the 2020 protests, was identified on someone else's video from the protests.
