Friends recall that Maxim served his military service in one of the Minsk “special forces” units.
Maxim is accused of blowing up a police car near the Central District Department of Internal Affairs.
The incident happened on the night of January 7-8, 2022, not far from the building of the Central District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk. A criminal case has been opened for blowing up a car under Article 289 (repeated act of terrorism).
Investigators later added that on the night of January 13, he allegedly damaged the Tabakerka kiosk and a trash can in the same way.
On May 26, 2023, the appeal was considered and the verdict entered into force.

According to the case file, in a shop on Pushinsky pr-t, a 28 year old man «grabbed the panels of three desktop flags of the Republic of Belarus, which were in a metal shelf of the store, tore the flag cloths out of plastic rods and threw them on the floor». The state prosecution regarded Dmitry's actions as committed «on the grounds of political and ideological enmity».

According to law enforcement officials, the woman showed «a desire to undermine the authority of the head of state and insult the president in the eyes of the public by choosing a method designed for a wide range of people to spread false information».

Sergey is originally from Kherson, Ukraine, but has lived in Belarus almost all his life. He has worked in various blue-collar jobs all his life. He has two minor children.
The man was detained in February 2023. In a pro-government video, he says that he left comments on Telegram and registered with the Plan Peramoga chatbot. He was first convicted in October 2023 for "inciting other social hatred" (Part 1 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code).
On 08.12.2023, the appeal was considered and the verdict came into force.
Sergei's next trial will begin on September 27 in the Minsk City Court. He is charged under four articles - "participation in an extremist group" (Part 3 of Article 361-1 of the Criminal Code), "incitement of other social hatred" (Part 1 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code), "insulting a government official" (Article 369 of the Criminal Code), and "insulting Lukashenko" (Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code). Sergei faces up to five years in prison in addition to his previous term.

In February 2021, Vladimir Butkovets appealed to the Investigative Committee of Gomel with a request to interrogate him as a witness in the case of a human rights defender Leonid Sudalenko, to whom he repeatedly applied for legal assistance.
In the summer of 2022, Vladimir was dismissed from his job as «politically unreliable».
Vladimir was detained on September 5, 2022, he was sentenced to seven days of arrest under Article 19.11 of the Administrative Code for «distribution of extremist materials».

On April 18, 2023, the Supreme Court replaced the deprivation of liberty with 3 years of restriction of freedom with a referral to an open-type correctional institution.
Dmitry Stepanov was put in jail before the trial. At first, the man was tried under administrative articles — and then a criminal case was opened for creating an extremist formation and managing it (Part 1 of Article 361-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus). The term extremist formation refers to the local Brest telegram chat «GOBK».

Vasily was severely beaten, he even lost consciousness, his ribs were broken. They were transferred to pre-trial detention center-1 from the hospital.
