Violetta is an artist from the Gomel region. In 2020, she and activist Dmitry Lukomsky moved to Ukraine due to political persecution. There, in 2023, they launched the project "Tviy Susid" (Your Home)—a website about Belarus for Ukrainians.
Violetta was tried under articles 361-1 and 368 of the Criminal Code for creating an "extremist group" and insulting Lukashenko. She was accused of administering the Telegram chat "Petrikov 97%," which the authorities later designated an "extremist group."
Kirill was detained in the spring of 2025 as part of a criminal case under the article "assistance to extremist activity," and in the fall of the same year he was found guilty and sentenced to restricted freedom with referral.
Kirill's wife has multiple sclerosis. In 2021, she was assigned a third-degree disability. The disease requires constant monitoring and regular treatment, without which her condition can worsen. While Kirill was in prison, his wife's condition deteriorated sharply.

On February 16, 2021, Belarusian security forces conducted searches at all addresses in Belarus with which Andrei Strizhak and his family are associated. In April 2021, the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus accused Andrei Strizhak of financing an extremist group and training individuals to participate in group actions that grossly violate public order (Part 2 of Article 342 and Article 361-2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).
In February 2022, a criminal case was opened for "financing extremist activity". On May 18, 2022, the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus opened a criminal case against Andrei for "financing and material support of an armed conflict and military actions on the territory of a neighboring state" (Part 2 of Article 361-3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus). In addition, the Investigative Committee accused Strizhak of recruiting Belarusian volunteers to participate in military actions in Ukraine.
On 12/05/2024, a "special proceeding" was initiated, Andrey was charged under 17 articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. In August, a court hearing in absentia was held and a sentence was handed down - 18 years of imprisonment.
