This case was never initiated, but at the end of 2020 Andrey himself was prosecuted for participating in mass riots. In December, he was detained for 72 hours, but then released on bail. Andrei's house was searched. On April 26, 2021, he was again detained and placed in a pre-trial detention center.

According to the accusation, last year Andriy, in comments on the Grodno 97% telegram channel, publicly insulted a representative of the authorities, local policeman Maksim Chertkov. Andrei was charged with "threats to use violence against an employee of the internal affairs bodies." At the same time, the prosecutor's office and the investigation already had an expert opinion in their hands that Andrei Avsievich's public opinion contains negative assessments, but there are no grounds to assert that he threatened the police officers. But the investigation not only did not listen to the experts, but completely reclassified the case as a "terrorist" article. During the trial, another examination was scheduled, but it also testified that there were no threats from Andrey. Nevertheless, after the reclassification of the crime to another - "incitement of hatred" - Andrey Avsievich was still convicted.
