On August 10, during a protest, Andrei was severely beaten by riot police . He wanted to take a woman away from the riot police, after which he was seized by seven security officials and severely beaten. At the police department, the police called an ambulance, as Andrei was covered in blood. He ended up in the hospital: he had a head injury, hematomas all over his body, he had stitches. On the fact of beating Kondrasyuk, an application was submitted to the Investigative Committee to initiate a criminal case.
This case was never initiated, but at the end of 2020 Andrey himself was prosecuted for participating in mass riots. In December, he was detained for 72 hours, but then released on bail. Andrei's house was searched. On April 26, 2021, he was again detained and placed in a pre-trial detention center.
