Dmitry was accused of participating in protests in Zhlobin in 2020, as well as stepping onto the roadway during the protests, and was sentenced to restricted freedom and sent to an open facility. Dmitry fully admitted his guilt. He was held on personal recognizance pending trial.
As established during the judicial investigation, the minor Soldatenko arrived in the central part of Zhlobin on the evening of August 9, 2020, where the protest took place.

Pavel was found guilty in a criminal case opened under the article "hooliganism committed by a group of persons." According to the charges, on October 14, 2020, Pavel, acting intentionally and by prior conspiracy, with the intent of disturbing public order, placed tires and pieces of roofing felt on the road and set them on fire with a flammable liquid, thereby blocking traffic on the roadway in the direction of Minsk.

Dmitry was first detained after a protest on August 9, 2020, in Zhlobin. He was released after three days in police custody and then went to work in Russia. He was detained again in May 2021 at the request of Belarusian authorities, and extradited to Belarus in January 2022.
