Human rights activists learned about the verdict of the Pukhovichi District Court under Part 1 of Article 366 - "Violence or threat of violence, destruction or damage to property against an official." The victim is the military commissar of the Pukhovichi District, whom one of the residents called on March 3, 2022, to "talk to him about the events taking place in Ukraine and try to stop the military actions." As the accused himself explained in court, during the conversation, he emotionally threatened the military commissar with violence, since he was calling up citizens for military service. The accused fully admitted his guilt during the trial.

The call lasted 6 minutes and 19 seconds. The court found that "the expressed threat of violence was real, since the accused, acting in a tense military-political situation, the content and form of his statements caused the victim to feel fear for his loved ones." The military commissar himself noted that he perceived the threats as real, "since he found himself in such a situation for the first time and, not knowing the true intentions and capabilities of the accused, began to fear for the lives of his loved ones."

It is known that the accused was in custody before the trial.
