Alexey is a first-category plastic surgeon. He was arrested on February 2, 2023, right at his workplace. He was convicted twice under administrative law for "reposts" and held in the Okrestina temporary detention center. He was never released: after 24 hours, he was transferred to Zhodino Prison No. 8 for a criminal case opened under the article "Active participation in group actions that grossly violate public order."
In April of that year, Alexei was convicted of participating in protests that took place in Minsk in 2020 and sentenced to restricted freedom with a referral.
On the βrepentant videoβ , he says that he left insulting comments about Lukashenka, and also allegedly registered in the chat bot of the Peramoga plan.
It is known that at least earlier he worked in the Ruzhansky sanatorium.
The man is accused of being the administrator of the Ruzhany 97% chat, which was recognized as extremist in January 2022. In general, the chat looks like it has been abandoned for a long time - pro-government media and videos of the security forces are reposted there, but no one deletes them.
The man's account was not hidden from the list of administrators; his profile picture and name, as well as his nickname, are on the avatar.
Dmitry was convicted of tearing down three red-and-green flags in December 2022, according to the prosecution. According to the case file, at the Sosedi store on Pushkinsky Prospekt, he "grabbed three pieces of the national flag of the Republic of Belarus from a metal rack, tore them from their plastic rods, and threw them on the floor." The prosecution characterized these actions as "motivated by political and ideological hatred."
