According to the prosecution materials , Ilya took an active part “in group actions, together with a crowd of people went out onto the roadway, obstructing the movement of public and other transport, together with others they clapped their hands, shouted loudly, whistled, shouted various slogans, demonstratively disdainful, openly refused to comply with the legitimate demands of government officials.”
Ilya has a higher education, participated in the Republican competition “Battle of Minds” among students of law classes.

The harsh sentence in the criminal case is retaliation by the authorities for participating in a peaceful protest on August 9, 2020, against the results of the presidential election in the Republic of Belarus and serving on the strike committee at BMZ.
Recently, most of those convicted in Zhlobin under the same article received restricted freedom without being sent to open institutions. However, Alexey Avdeyev's case was handled very harshly. Two weeks before his criminal case was heard, the Zhlobin District Court deliberated an administrative case against the young man under Part 2 of Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus.
Alexey is known for his active volunteer work during the COVID-19 pandemic, his role as one of the first to go on strike after the 2020 elections, his time coaching teenagers interested in motorsports and cross-country racing, and his own motorcycle construction.
On January 10, 2024, the appeal was heard and the verdict came into force.
He was released in November 2025, having served his full sentence.

Daria Korablina was detained on June 21, 2023 on charges of organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order or actively participating in them.
It is known that before the arrest, Darya worked as an inspector of the technical control department at the Belarusian Metallurgical Plant.
Denis was charged with "organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, or actively participating in them" and was sentenced in April 2023 to a restricted freedom sentence. According to the charges, on the night of August 9-10, 2020, Denis, along with others, actively violated public order, disobeyed police orders, walked onto the roadway, and obstructed public transportation.
According to human rights activists, he was released in the summer of 2025, having fully served his sentence.
Evgeny was convicted of actively participating in "mass riots" in central Zhlobin on the night of August 9-10, 2020. He and others obstructed public transportation and retail operations, formed a chain of vehicles, and disobeyed police orders. He was held in pretrial detention pending trial, but the exact date of his arrest is unknown.
