Sergey Vladimirovich Sobolevsky

Director of the Sakavitsa company, the former Maladzechna Art Products Factory. Sergey Sobolevsky was charged under Parts 1 and 3 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code (“Seizure of property through the use of official powers”), a charge which, according to him, the investigators were making up on the fly, already in court. There was no evidence.  Sergey Sobolevsky said in an interview that while he was already behind bars, KGB officers came to see him three times (including at the Vitebsk penal colony), offering him the chance to testify against Sergey Tikhanovsky and go home immediately. The convict flatly refused.
