Matvey is a third-year student at the Minsk College of Entrepreneurship and works as a freight forwarder. Matvey Budnitsky was found guilty of taking an active part in a mass event on October 4 on Masherov and Pobediteley avenues, as well as Pritytsky, Lyubimy, Surganov, Kalvariyskaya and Prilukskaya streets. It was associated with a clear disobedience to police officers, loud applause with hands. Convicted of spraying a can during a protest.

Sentenced on December 11, 2020 to four years of restriction of freedom in an open correctional facility. Samarin is also obliged to pay 500 rubles in compensation for moral damage to the riot police officer. Nikita was released in the courtroom - the preventive measure was changed to a written undertaking not to leave the place.

But on March 25, 2021, in the Grodno regional court, Nikita was sentenced to 2.5 years - two and a half years in prison instead of four years of chemical treatment. Nikita himself did not appear in court. He sent the letter through a friend. In it, he said that, according to his information, arbitrary detentions were planned in the courtroom, which threatened him and those present.
