Kristina was convicted in a criminal case opened for online comments following the deaths of KGB officer Dmitry Fedosyuk and IT specialist Andrei Zeltser in Minsk.
According to the indictment, on September 29, 2021, after learning of the deaths of Andrei Zeltser and KGB officer Dmitry Fedosyuk, Kristina left a comment in a Telegram chat: "My home is no longer my castle" and "There's nowhere to hide from these monsters." Investigators deemed these statements an insult to a government official, which was confirmed by a linguistic examination in court.

The comment was written in the telegram chat «Belaruski Gayun Chat» (a chat associated with the channel Belaruski Gayun», which tracked the movement of Russian troops on the territory of Belarus).
