Margarita is a Belarusian opera singer. In 2020, she took part in Svetlana Tikhanovskaya's election campaign and dealt with issues of culture and national heritage in Pavel Latushko's team and in the People's Anti-Crisis Directorate.
During a tour in Lithuania in the fall of 2020, Margarita began to be persecuted in Belarus, after which she was forced to remain abroad.
In March 2024, a criminal case was opened against Margarita as part of a special proceeding, and already in June of the same year, she was convicted in absentia for participating in an “extremist group” - “Rudobelskaya show-off”, sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment and a fine of 800 basic units.

The film on the ONT TV channel showed how the Ukrainian terrorist Nikolai Shvets was detained on March 4 in the house of Nastya and her husband Oleg Sychev in the garden association «Berezovaya Roshcha» in the village of Chertyazh (Borovlyansky Village Council).

According to the case materials , in the fall of 2020, the father and his daughter, while on the roadway of Pobediteley Avenue in Minsk, acting as a group of people, and with other people, "took an active part in group actions that grossly violated public order and involved clear disobedience to the lawful demands of a police officer, disrupted the operation of transport and enterprises, blocked and obstructed the path of vehicles, including public passenger transport."
They were identified from photographs taken at the scene.
They were kept in custody until the trial.

Ksenia, an employee of the IT company Game Stream, was detained on March 11, 2023, in Minsk. According to security officials, in 2020–2021, she made nine payments to solidarity funds via Facebook donations, totaling $425. Pro-government Telegram channels published a video of the search, during which a white-red-white flag, $20,000, and office equipment were found and confiscated from Ksenia Alkenova.
In July of that year, she was convicted and sentenced to imprisonment.
On December 13, 2025, she was released following a visit to Minsk by US President Donald Trump's special representative, John Cole, and taken to Ukraine.

Detained together with her husband in the case of sabotage in Machulishchi.
Human rights activists received information that on March 3, KGB officers detained Maxim Lopatin in the case of sabotage in Machulishchi. The man is being held in the KGB pre-trial detention center. Propagandists recalled Lopatin in their film on BT.
On March 23, Maxim's wife, Lyudmila Lopatina, was also detained. On June 12, 2023, she was convicted for participating in protests. The decision of the court is unknown.
The couple have two minor children.
