The young man was convicted for participating in protests. The proof was a photo on Instagram, where he is standing in a T-shirt with "Pahonia", around him other participants hold white-red-white flags.
After a 15-day administrative arrest, a criminal case was opened against a resident of Minsk, Alla Novikova.
First, law enforcement officials found out that the woman was subscribed to the telegram channel («Chkalova Info»), which is recognized as an extremist formation in Belarus, and Alla also reposted news from this channel.
Then, while Alla was in a temporary detention facility, law enforcement officials found photos from the 2020 protests in her phone.
