Galina Krasnyanskaya is 67 years old. She comes from Bobruisk, probably from the family of a military serviceman; on social networks it is indicated that she was born in the “military town of Kiselevichy”. Once there was a large military garrison there and the school was created just for military children. After school she went to Minsk to study as a chemist at the Belarusian Technological Institute (now BSTU). But after that, Galina worked in military units, according to her social networks. For example, from 1981 to 1986 in unit No. 48819, based in the pro-Soviet part of Germany-GDR. She probably subsequently moved to Sweden. She must also have Swedish citizenship. It is unknown when the woman returned to Belarus, but not earlier than the spring of 2023. The date of detention is also unknown. The article under which Galina is accused most often means a donation to Belarusian volunteers or to help Ukraine.
After the sentence comes into effect, it is only possible to write letters to a prisoner. According to article 85 of the Penal Enforcement Code, prisoners cannot receive money transfers from persons who are not family members. Parcels are also only possible from relatives. How to write a letter

✏️ Your life events. To a person who is in isolation for a long time, any story about your routine endeavors will be a window into normal life. Your day-to-day worries and mundane matters are much more interesting than the daily grind of life behind bars.
✏️ It is important to share news. Mention the most notable and interesting occurrences depending on your pen-pal's interests.
✍️️ Remember that every letter is censored. This means that your letters are read by strangers whose main goal is to limit inmates' access to information or to use it against the prisoners or even you.
So try to avoid:
👉️️ harsh statements regarding ongoing political matters
👉 statements against the authorities and public servants
👉 foul language
👉 discussion of the circumstances of the criminal case
