Denis Khokhlov has lived in Russia since February 2023, he went there because he was afraid of persecution in his homeland. From Russia, he was going to leave for Georgia, but in June 2023 he was detained in Kabardino-Balkaria because he was on the interstate wanted list at the request of Belarus.
Denis is the stepfather of Vladislav Lagutenko, who has already been sentenced for participating in the protests to two years of home chemistry.
