Margarita Nikolaevna Lantsevich
Lantsevich Margarita Nikolaevna is involved in politically motivated repressions in the Republic of Belarus. Margarita Lantsevich is responsible for the fact that, as a judge of the Oktyabrsky District Court in Grodno, she makes politically motivated sentences against citizens who do not support the current regime in the country. As a result of its decisions, representatives of civil society of the Republic of Belarus are sentenced to various terms of imprisonment. In particular, in December 2021, she sentenced Tikhon Shlyukhtits to imprisonment for a period of 1 year and 3 months in a general regime colony for writing seven comments in a telegram chat, as well as for participating in a peaceful protest on September 6, 2020. In April 2021, Margarita Lantsevich sentenced the mother of two minor children, Anastasia Kolomeichenko, to one and a half years of restriction of freedom for a comment on Instagram. Also in January 2023, for participating in a peaceful protest in 2020, Lantsevich sentenced Anton Naumov to two and a half years of restriction of freedom and sent to an open correctional facility. Thus, Margarita Nikolaevna Lantsevich is responsible for human rights violations and undermining the rule of law, as well as for promoting repression against representatives of civil society and the democratic opposition. Her work within the judiciary is focused on maintaining the position of the existing government, rather than on enforcing the law. Lantsevich’s actions contribute to human rights violations, strengthening the power of Alexander Lukashenko and increasing politically motivated repression in the Republic of Belarus.

Tatyana, a pensioner, was convicted under the article “Insulting a government official” for a comment left on the social network Odnoklassniki addressed to a police officer.
Ilya was arrested in March 2021 and convicted for participating in protests that took place on August 9-10, 2020 in Minsk. He comes from a large family and was the sole breadwinner at the time of his arrest. The court sentenced him to restricted freedom in an open-type correctional facility.
In February 2022, a court hearing was held, following which the punishment regime was tightened, and Ilya was sent to a penal colony.
He was released in the summer of 2023, having served his entire sentence.

Igor was convicted for a comment left on a Telegram channel regarding the situation with a policeman beating a pregnant woman.
He was released in September 2021 as part of a pardon.

Andrei was arrested and convicted in a criminal case following a protest that took place in Grodno on September 6, 2020, against violence and the results of the presidential election. He was accused of "intending to hurt 11 riot police officers out of revenge and threatening their personal safety."
He was released in December 2023, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.
