According to the prosecution, no later than 14:39 on February 27, 2022, the man sent a photo of the bulletin with two checkmarks to the NEXTA telegram bot. Thus, according to the prosecution, Sergey committed a crime under Part 1 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (Promotion of extremist activity).

Novikov himself did not write any works, but was actively involved in criticism. In his texts, Novikov persistently treated Belarusian-speaking authors.
