Vitaly Vasilevich, 49, is the founder and CEO of Belwooddoors in Belarus, which is one of the largest manufacturing companies in Belarus with offices in Asia and the United States, and the company employs more than 400 people. Vasilevich also built a 16-storey business center "Titul" in Minsk. Pro-government sources called the detainee a “dollar millionaire” and accused him of “not letting police officers into the enterprise’s facility.” Allegedly, because of this, claims arose against the man , and “during a thorough check”, they found in him “a firearm and traces of participation in mass violations of public order and road closures committed in August 2020”, namely a photo with his wife in protests on August 16 and 23, 2020.
