All persecuted

A craftsman from Baranovichi, Sergei was arrested in February 2025. He was initially sentenced to 24 hours in jail under Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, then charged under Article 188 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.

The Brest Regional Prosecutor's Office listed the actions for which the young man is being prosecuted under four articles: nine donations to a YouTube channel "used for informational support" of the Kalinovsky Regiment. Furthermore, in 2024, the young man wrote messages in Telegram chats containing "public insults" against Alexander Lukashenko, as well as messages allegedly falling under Article 361 of the Criminal Code (Calls for sanctions). Finally, in October 2024, the Brest resident apparently attempted to join the "Peramoga" plan ( "activated correspondence with a Telegram bot, filled out the proposed form, providing information about himself and his skills, thereby joining it," and completed a "test task" ).

An activist, detained in June 2025 in Pruzhany. The detention was demonstrative, security forces arrived for him in four cars, a search was conducted at his place of residence. Pavel is a former officer, a lawyer.

Dmitry is a designer, he was also involved in PR, media and social projects. He was part of the company "Fajno", which, among other things, developed the design of the bird lamp.

Andrey Berestovoy has over 20 years of experience in design, and the last 15 years he has been working in IT. In the second half of 2024, he was detained. It is only known that the reason for the detention could have been Berestovoy's comments on Telegram. He used an old account linked to his own Belarusian number, and an old nickname that he used everywhere.

It is known that he periodically traveled to Belarus.

Convicted under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, the second article is unknown.

Ruslan Zubkov is 26 years old. According to social networks, he has lived and worked in Poland in recent years.

In December 2023, Zubkov was added to the list of members of the extremist group "Russia is Evil". This is a small Telegram chat with 135 members, where only three people are currently active. In February 2024, Ruslan was put on the wanted list in Belarus and Russia - this means that at that time he was still at large.

It is also unknown when Ruslan was detained. He was first tried in June 2024 for "insulting Lukashenko" in the Kamenets District Court. The verdict is unknown.

The pro-government film (April 2024) said that six teenagers allegedly united in the “anarchist cell “Black Nightingales”, which” under the leadership of the National Liberation Army of Ukraine “was created by 16-year-old Ukrainian citizen Maria Misyuk.

ONT employees claim that the teenagers united to carry out sabotage on a tip in Belarus, and then in Russia. Maria is accused under Part 2 of Art. 289 of the Criminal Code (act of terrorism). According to the story, 16-year-old Maria Misyuk moved with her family from Ukraine to Belarus in 2022, where she created an “anarchist cell for preparing terrorist attacks.” Among those detained are college students in Baranovichi, Nesvizh, Mir, Minsk and Luninets. These are Trofim Borisov, Sergey Zhigalev, Dmitry Zahoroshko , Anastasia Klimenko and Alexandra Pulinovich. According to ONT employees, young people gathered at the Baranovichi apartment to prepare for their first serious action - to collect explosives and blow up the Baranovichi police department or prosecutor's office. It is unknown under what charges the remaining five participants are accused. As well as their status and location are unknown.

Sergei was arrested right at college during classes in late December 2023. A pro-government film (April 2024) reported that six teenagers allegedly united into an "anarchist cell called 'Black Nightingales,'" which was created "under the leadership of the National Liberation Army of Ukraine" by 16-year-old Ukrainian citizen Maria Misiuk.

According to the materials of the prosecution, Maxim Kurovsky intentionally posted messages in one of the Telegram chats against President Lukashenko, obscene in form and offensive in content.

The examination found that the messages contained a negative assessment of the head of state, humiliated his honor and dignity. Moreover, he used the Belarusian language at the same time. Former investigator of the Pruzhansky district department of the Investigative Committee. He retired from the service in 2020.

68-year-old Boris Vitko was accused of writing an offensive comment regarding judge Nikolai Kmita on September 30, 2021, in the Lyakhovichi 97 telegram channel.

Court verdict 01/20/2023: 2 years of restriction of freedom without direction.

At the end of May 2023, it became known that Boris was detained again. This was reported by the pro-government telegram channel. Riot police officers in bulletproof vests with shotguns detained a man on the territory of a private house. In the published video, Boris says that he was detained on suspicion of insulting Lukashenko (Article 368 of the Criminal Code). A search was conducted at the place of residence in the village of Medvedichi, Lyakhovichi district.

Later, human rights activists learned that for some time Boris Vitko was held in the Lyakhovichi temporary detention center, then transferred to the Baranovichi pre-trial detention center. He is now in pre-trial detention center No. 7 in Brest awaiting trial. In November 2023, Boris was added to the list of terrorists. The trial began in early January 2024. At the first trial, Boris Vitko was charged with the fact that on September 30, 2021, in the telegram channel “Lyakhovichi 97” he wrote an offensive comment regarding judge Nikolai Kmita. Based on the totality of sentences, by partial addition of the unserved part of the sentence, the finally accused Boris Vitko was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of seven years and three months, to be served in a correctional colony under a high security regime, with a fine to the state in the amount of 300 basic units in the amount of 12,000 rubles .

Boris has heart problems and must constantly take medication.

Dmitry was a witness in the case of Brest political prisoners, bloggers Sergei Petrukhin and Alexander Kabanov, who were sentenced to three years in a general regime penal colony in April of this year. As the activist told Brest human rights defenders, a criminal case was opened against him for refusing to answer questions from the judge who was considering the case of Petrukhin and Kabanov, since he did not show the judge's service ID.

On December 11, 16 and 17, 2024, new hearings of Dmitry's case took place in the Leninsky District Court of Brest under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. Dmitry was sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment.
