Sergei Ryabtsev was detained on September 30, 2021, initially because of a comment after the death in Minsk in a shootout of Dmitry Fedosyuk, an employee of the State Security Committee, and Andrei Zeltser, an IT specialist. Sergei was called to the military enlistment office, where the security forces were already waiting for him. Then the guy's house was searched in his absence.
In early September 2022, it became known that the State Security Committee had included Ryabtsev's name in the «List of persons involved in terrorist activities».
The Grodno Regional Court sentenced Sergei on November 4, 2022.
