He was detained in the winter of 2022. The man is accused of leaving the following comment on VKontakte under a message about a fatal shootout between KGB officer Fedosyuk and IT specialist Andrey Zeltser last September while in Zhlobin: "The people have opened an account." This comment was later interpreted as "a call to fight law enforcement agencies." He had previously been convicted several times for drug trafficking.
On October 28, 2022, the appeal was heard and the verdict came into force.
He is expected to be released on April 3, 2025.
