Iryna was tried four times for comments about security officers on Telegram. In August 2021, she was found guilty in a criminal case initiated under the article "Insulting a representative of the authorities" for the word "scum", which she wrote about the head of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption (GUBOPiK), Andrei Parshyn, in the "Punishers of Belarus" channel, and sentenced to restricted freedom without referral to an open-type correctional facility.
In November of the same year, Iryna was convicted again for the comment "fascist" under a photo of Yauhen Kalesen, a police officer from Maladzechna. In March 2022, she was found guilty for the third time: on 21 October 2020, she had written "What a mug" under a photo of Vital Kuliashou in the same channel. Until August 2020, Kuliashou headed the Hantsavichy district police department; he was then removed from his post, and by the time of the comment he was no longer a representative of the authorities. Kuliashou demanded 1,000 rubles from Iryna in compensation for moral damage.
On 6 April 2022, Iryna was detained, and on 12 April she was convicted for the fourth time in a closed trial.
