The incident for which Petrykivtsi businessman Dmitry Levkovich was convicted occurred in November last year, reports Poleskaya Vesna. He served his entire sentence. In August 2021, the trial began under Article 369 of the Criminal Code. The police officers who beat Dmitry felt insulted by the fact that during the beating he shouted "Let go, f***ers!" Dmitry was sentenced to 2 years of restricted freedom without referral .
On March 15, 2022, Judge Anoshko considered another criminal case against Dmitry for insult and sentenced him to imprisonment in a penal colony.
In November 2023, he was released, having fully served the sentence imposed by the court.
After his release, pressure continued on Dmitry, threatening to open another criminal case. They also threatened his family.
