The investigation established that Artur Radzivanovich "on his own initiative initiated correspondence with representatives of the K. Kalinovsky Regiment armed group via Telegram." During the conversation, he clarified the procedure and conditions for enlisting in the regiment, and then planned his crossing of the state border between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Poland and his subsequent route to Ukraine. Arriving at the Brest international checkpoint on December 30, 2023, to cross into Ukraine through Poland, the accused was detained by law enforcement officers.
According to human rights activists, it was supposed to be released in March 2026.
