According to the case materials , on November 15, 2024, while intoxicated near one of the houses on Mayakovsky Street, Kunitsky approached members of a citizens' initiative group who were collecting signatures to nominate presidential candidate Alexander Lukashenko. Then he "publicly, in the presence of several people, made a negative comment about him, using an indecent form."
The court noted that the actions of the accused were intentional, aimed at publicly humiliating the honor and dignity of Alexander Lukashenko.
