Yana is originally from Pinsk. She graduated from high school in 2021. A year later, she went to Poland, where she first enrolled in a preparatory year in Krakow, and then at university. It's unclear whether Galimskaya completed her studies.
It's also unknown whether she returned to Belarus or went there to visit her parents. But she was arrested in the second half of last year and placed in pretrial detention.
Recently, Galimskaya has been trying to earn money as a tutor: since January 2026, she has been teaching Polish and Belarusian.

Lyudmila is an experienced nurse who worked for a long time at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics in Minsk.
