was detained on September 29, 2021 in Miory in a criminal case initiated for comments on the Internet after the death of KGB officer Dmitry Fedosyuk and IT specialist Andrei Zeltser in a Minsk apartment. In mid-September 2022, she was transferred to house arrest.

At first it was reported that the political prisoner was accused under Articles 369 and 130 of the Criminal Code, but in the end she was tried for insulting Lukashenko (Article 368 of the Criminal Code) and a government official (Article 369 of the Criminal Code).

The political prisoner was handcuffed in the courtroom. She has about 4 months left in prison.

In October 2024, it became known that a new criminal case had been opened against the former political prisoner. She is accused under Article 369 of the Criminal Code (insulting a government official). This became known from a report of incidents published in the local district newspaper.

Russian citizen. Arrested on May 28, 2021 for a tweet written on May 23. The tweet led to a publication in LiveJournal with a reprint of the BBC Russian Service material about the incident with the Ryanair plane (on which Roman Protasevich was flying). Vikholm added her own title to the reprint: "Lukashenko's next crime: an act of state air piracy" , and the phrase "act of state air piracy" was cited in the text of the BBC as a reaction of the Greek Foreign Ministry.

On September 1, 2022, she was released after the expiration of her sentence and immediately deported to the Russian Federation without the right to enter the Republic of Belarus for 10 years.

According to the prosecution, on May 27, 2021, the police came to Natalia's house. There, a woman "publicly insulted" Lukashenka with the words "we have a fucking state" and "a fucking president", which, according to the state prosecution, committed a crime under Part 1 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code. An hour after uttering these words, the investigators were already conducting an inspection in the woman's apartment. During it, according to the prosecution, "wishing to express her superiority and permissiveness," Turova tore up the protocol. So the woman "damaged an official document" (part 1 of article 377 of the Criminal Code). She was pardoned on 03/09/2022.
