Accomplice to crimes against the rights and freedoms of citizens of Belarus. Novikova Lyudmila Vladimirovna is an employee of judicial authorities involved in politically motivated repressions. Novikova brought down guilty verdicts in politically motivated cases. She handed down sentences to Dmitry Kravtsov and Victoria Zherdetskaya, who were found guilty of desecration of state symbols under Article 370 of the Criminal Code. Dmitry and Victoria modified the image of the state emblem and used it as a logo for Telegram and Youtube channels. According to the case materials, this was done “with the aim of giving his channel popularity and demonstrating his blasphemous attitude.” As a result, Kravtsov received a sentence of 3 months of arrest, and Zherdetskaya received 1 year of restriction of freedom without being sent to a correctional facility. Convicted Vladislav Mazurov and Ilya Kovalev under Article 370 of the Criminal Code for desecration of state symbols. She sentenced each of them to three months' imprisonment.
