On August 17, 2022, and as the relatives of Sergei Sesitsky reported, the Vitebsk resident was detained for 72 hours and placed in a pre-trial detention center. He is charged with the crime of publicly insulting the President of the Republic of Belarus. Sergei's house, as well as his parents', were searched.
According to unspecified information, the reason for the detention was some post in social networks posted back in 2017.
