The story claimed the single mother had allegedly insulted police officer Kutsko with an "offensive symbol" and received two years of "house arrest." Maxim's own comment also targeted Kutsko, and the story was accompanied by a photograph of "police officers in uniform."
The police officer demanded compensation for "moral damages," the court upheld the claim, and Maxim's phone was confiscated by the state as "an instrument of committing a crime."
