Larysa worked as a kindergarten teacher. On February 10, 2022, she was detained after a denunciation: 16 printed leaflets calling for "two crosses" on the referendum ballots were found in her desk at work. The next day, a court sentenced her to 15 days of administrative arrest, and on February 23 she was detained again, this time in a criminal case. Larysa spent more than a month behind bars, where she turned 60.
In April 2022, Larysa was found guilty in a criminal case initiated under the article "Obstruction of the exercise of electoral rights" for these leaflets and sentenced to restricted freedom without referral to an open-type correctional facility. She was released in the courtroom. The court confiscated her mobile phone, laptop and flash drive as "instruments of the crime".
