Alla Aleksandrovna Skuratovich is involved in politically motivated repressions in the Republic of Belarus. Skuratovich is responsible for the fact that, as a judge of the Frunzensky District Court of Minsk, he issues numerous politically motivated sentences against opposition leaders, activists and protesters. In judicial practice, Alla Skuratovich considers not only administrative cases, but also criminal ones. As a result of its decisions, fines have already been issued for a total of no less than 16,740 rubles and administrative arrests for a total of no less than 950 days, and representatives of civil society of the Republic of Belarus have also been sentenced to various terms of imprisonment. In particular, in 2022, Skuratovich sentenced 60-year-old kindergarten teacher Larisa Nikolaeva to three years of restriction of freedom for printing 16 campaign leaflets for putting two crosses on ballots for the illegal 2022 referendum, which she kept on her desk in kindergarten. On October 31, 2022, a judge handed down prison sentences of two to three years for participating in a peaceful protest against members of the United Civil Party Artur Smolyakov, Andrei Asmalovsky and Diana Chernushina. Thus, Alla Aleksandrovna Skuratovich is responsible for human rights violations and undermining the principles of the rule of law, as well as for promoting repression against representatives of civil society and the democratic opposition. Her work within the judiciary is focused on maintaining the position of the existing government, rather than on enforcing the law. Skuratovich's actions contribute to human rights violations, strengthening the power of Alexander Lukashenko and increasing politically motivated repression in the Republic of Belarus.
