Artyom was detained on August 4 by the GUBOP officers. During the arrest, the Gubopovtsy greeted Artyom with the phrase "Welcome to the Gestapo!", after which they beat him, put him in the "swallow" and threatened with rape so that he would tell the password to his phone. The court of the Zavodskoy district of Minsk appointed him a 15-day arrest, after which he was never released. He was charged under Art. 342.1 for participating in protests and transferred to SIZO-1.
