Families Convicted for Their Civic Stance

23 October 2022

Many worthy people are held in the prisons and penal colonies of Belarus. When a loved one ends up behind bars, it is a blow to the whole family, which now spends almost all its resources on securing the prisoner's access to legal aid and on sending them essential items, food and medicine. But there are families in which more than one person has faced criminal prosecution.
