Dmitry lived in Ukraine for a long time, and in 2019 he married a Ukrainian woman there. He did not serve in the Belarusian army, but in Ukraine he joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a supply officer. From March to October 2021, he worked as a guard at a military warehouse in the demarcation zone between the DPR/LPR and the territory controlled by Ukraine.
In the fall of 2021, having lost his Belarusian passport, Dmitry went to the embassy in Kyiv, where he was issued a temporary document and advised to go to Belarus for a new passport. However, immediately after crossing the border, he was detained. For two days in a row, the KGB interrogated him on suspicion of "terrorism" and "weapons transportation."
No facts were found, but Dmitry was transferred from the temporary detention facility to a pretrial detention center and a case of "mercenarism" was opened (Article 133 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus). Later, the article was reclassified, and in March 2022, he was convicted of "participation in military actions on the territory of a foreign state without the authorization of Belarus." During his stay in the pretrial detention center, Dmitry's daughter was born.
According to human rights activists, he was released in the winter of 2024, having fully served his sentence.
On the night of February 21-22, 2022, Pavel spray-painted several inscriptions around Brest: at a public transport stop he wrote “Long live Belarus”; on the building of the stronghold of the police in the microdistrict "Kovalevo" wrote "ACAB"; wrote an obscene phrase on the balcony and facade of another building. Pavel was arrested and taken into custody.

According to the charge, traffic police officers detained Tereshkevich on the evening of January 9, 2022 on the highway. In the employees' car, in the hospital and on the way to the police department, he insulted Lukashenko, using obscene language. Among the expletives were: «Animal, redneck, fucking motherfucker».
The court considered as aggravating circumstances that the man already had a criminal record under defamatory Article 369 of the Criminal Code. The verdict in this case is unknown: during this episode, Tereshkevich dumped garbage on a police car.
On October 30, 2023, he was released upon expiration of his sentence.
