It is known that during his detention in the temporary detention facility, Alexander was tortured: he was not given a mattress, was not allowed to wash, eat normally, or receive warm drinks. As a result, his health deteriorated significantly.
According to human rights activists, he was released in the spring of 2024, having fully served the sentence imposed by the court.
