According to the case materials, in August 2020, a member of the group chat used his mobile phone to post messages from his account containing statements of an inciting nature and calls for physical violence against law enforcement officers.

On August 15, 2020 and February 12, 2021, he posted offensive comments in a Telegram chat about the president, as well as the military commissar of the Gomel region, Andrei Krivonosov.

He was released in June 2024, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.

According to the indictment, in August 2021, he and Yaroslav Geben tore the national flag from one of the stores and took indecent photographs with it and filmed a video.

According to the prosecution's version, Vitaliy Zhilinsky repeatedly in August-September 2020, as part of a group of people, moved along the carriageways of Nezavisimost Avenue, Pobediteley, Pushkin, Maxim Bogdanovich and Yakub Kolos Streets in Minsk, publicly shouting slogans. As a result of illegal actions, transport links in the capital were blocked, which led to a malfunction of public transport.
