Andrey was convicted in a criminal case brought for participating in protests that took place from August 9 to 11, 2020 in Zhlobin against the results of the presidential elections.
He was released in May 2023, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.
Andrey was first detained in September 2020 as part of a criminal case opened after the events of August 9-10 of that year in Zhlobin. He was soon released on bail. In March 2021, he was convicted of participating in a protest and taken into custody in the courtroom.
According to human rights activists, he was released in March 2024, having fully served his sentence imposed by the court.
