On January 9, 2023, the Gomel Regional Court considered the case of two Gomel residents, Vladislav Yatsenko and Kirill Plakushchev. According to the investigation, one of them repeatedly posted on one of the social networks publications calling for participation in the Kastus Kalinovsky battalion, "Azov" and other formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He also transferred 21 euros for the Kastus Kalinovsky battalion. Both guys were also accused of making cynical inscriptions and drawings on the walls of buildings. The court assessed the damage at 130 rubles.

According to human rights activists , he was released on May 7, 2024, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.

At the beginning of the trial, Sergei Matyukhevich was charged under two articles of the Criminal Code for messages on the Internet. However, under Article 369 of the Criminal Code, the judge released the man from punishment: the statute of limitations had expired. But under Part 1 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code, Sergei was found guilty.

As the prosecutor reported in a video broadcast by state media, Matyukhevich was accused of using his phone and the Internet to incite citizens to use violence against security forces on July 15, 2020.

On 13.01.2023, the appeal was heard and the verdict came into force.

Sergei has two young sons. The youngest was born while Sergei was in prison awaiting trial.

The guy studied at the 1st year, but after February 24, 2022, according to his confession at the trial, he became less interested in studying. And I began to look for options to help the Ukrainian side win.

During the court interrogation, the guy stated his version: he decided to get to Ukraine in order to provide any assistance that might be needed. But the priority in assistance would be: first of all medical, then logistical, technical.

In Bobruisk on June 6, 2023, a guy was tried under Part 1 of Art. 411 of the Criminal Code for "malicious disobedience to the requirements of the administration of the correctional institution." The verdict is unknown.
